Meet the Team
Community Responders are multidisciplinary professionals trained to address emergency public health and safety needs within the community. They provide outreach, engagement, and education to individuals in a judgment-free and compassionate manner. This support includes harm reduction, safety planning, prevention, counseling, providing supplies to promote safety, overdose prevention, naloxone distribution, and referrals to addiction treatment and recovery support when requested.
Community Responders, often with lived experience, work with community members to address their needs, offering connections to short and long term resources. They embrace a harm reduction philosophy, ensuring their approach is supportive and non-judgmental.
